General FAQ

How dark will I go?

That depends on your skin tone, how long you leave your tan on, and how many coats you apply.

For a gorgeous golden glow, leave your tan on for 2-4 hours. Want to go full competition bronze goddess? Sleep in it overnight and wake up ready to turn heads.

When should I apply my tan before competition day?

For best results, apply your Base Tan the day before your competition and rinse as directed. On competition day, apply Dance Instant Competition Colour for extra depth, colour and confidence.Because every girl deserves her main character moment under those stage lights.

Will I turn orange?

Absolutely not.Our formulas are designed to deliver rich, natural-looking bronze tones—not Oompa Loompa vibes.

The colour develops beautifully across a wide range of skin tones and fades naturally.

How long will my tan last?

Most tans last 5-7 days, depending on your skin type, lifestyle and how well you care for it.

Keeping your skin hydrated with Glow Up will help your tan stay fresher, longer.

Do I need to exfoliate before tanning?

Yes, babe.

Fresh skin = flawless tan. Exfoliate 24 hours before tanning to remove dead skin cells and create the perfect canvas for an even application.

Can I shave before tanning?

Yes.

We recommend shaving or waxing at least 24 hours before applying your tan. This allows pores to settle and helps prevent those annoying little dots.

Can I wear moisturiser before tanning?

Avoid moisturiser, oils, perfumes and deodorant immediately before applying your tan.

These products can create barriers on the skin and interfere with an even tan result.

Why are my hands, elbows and knees darker?

These areas naturally absorb more tanning product because the skin is drier.

Apply a light layer of moisturiser to these areas before tanning and use any leftover product on your mitt for a softer finish.

Can I use Championship TAN if I have sensitive skin?

Our products are formulated with skin-loving ingredients, however everyone's skin is unique.

If you have particularly sensitive skin, we recommend performing a patch test 24 hours before full application.

What is Dance Instant Competition Colour?

Dance is your competition day secret weapon. It's an instant bronzing top coat that adds extra depth, richness and stage-ready colour exactly where you need it. Think confidence in a bottle.

What is Stuck Up Body Glue?

Stuck Up keeps costumes, leotards, sleeves and dancewear exactly where they're meant to be.

No slipping.

No adjusting.

No awkward mid-performance wardrobe moments.

Just stick it and strut.

Is Stuck Up safe on skin?

Yes. Stuck Up is designed for external use on clean, dry skin.

As with any cosmetic product, discontinue use if irritation occurs.

How do I remove Stuck Up Body Glue?

Warm water, soap and a little patience.

Most residue washes away easily after your event. No scrubbing yourself raw required.

Will Stuck Up damage my costume?

We recommend applying directly to skin rather than fabric where possible.

Always test on a small area first if you're unsure.

Can I sleep in my tan?

Yes! In fact, for our darkest competition results, we recommend it.

Just wear loose, dark clothing and don't cuddle your white sheets goodbye.

Does Championship TAN protect me from the sun?

No.

Our products do not contain sunscreen and do not provide UV protection. Always wear SPF when spending time outdoors.
